Grilled Sardines

Grilled sardines
serves 3

12 large fresh sardines
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed
lemon juice
6 slices white bread, toasted

• Grill the sardines for a few minutes under a hot grill until tender, turning frequently.
• Trickle the lemon juice over the top of the sardines, and serve on toast while still warm.
